Who?

Hi, I am a visual thinker, writer and cheese lover. Previously, I have profiled some of the greatest Black photographers and artist including Michelle Aigns, Dread Scott, Frank Stewart, and Ernest Withers. I wrote about the risk that freelance photographers take on a day to day biases.

I have covered the NYC art world politics. I reviewed photo books including Renata Cherlise’s Black Archives and Helen Commack’s I Will Keep My Soul.

Like this newsletter, my writings will bring you thought provoking and informative stories that help you digest today’s political world through history, arat and photography.

Why?

I receive so many pitches stories happening in the art world especially art made by BIPOC artists and photographers. I created this newsletter so that I can cover more of the stories I receive in my inbox on a weekly bias and share my daily thoughts about art.
